A couple months back Tourism Queensland (as in, Australia) announced they were looking for “The Caretaker of the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.” The main point of the job is to spend six months living on Hamilton Island in the Great Barrier Reef and let people know what the area has to offer. Not only would you get to live in a in a three-bedroom villa in paradise, but paid AUD $150,000, given return airfares from your nearest capital city (in whatever your home country ia), computer, internet, digital video and stills cameras access, plus travel to a ton of the other Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.
They called the contest the Best Job in the World. I can see why. What could be more amazing?!?! Actually get paid to find out all the exciting things there are for tourists to do in the area and report back to the world? Sign me up!!
